Both include transport in private vehicles and an English speaking guide. Check out the details of each tour below:

Rioja Alavesa Day Trip

We'll leave Bilbao and head into the Rioja Alavesa to discover a fusion of history, gastronomy and dreamy landscapes. First, we'll visit Elvillar, where we'll go on a tour to discover the most charming areas and its passion for wine making. In addition, we'll discover the Neolithic dolmens that it houses.

We'll continue to discover the Rioja Alavesa, stopping at an underground wine cellar to find out what winemaking was like over 500 years ago. To complete this visit, we'll enjoy a tasting of one of the winery's wines, which you'll love!

After this, we'll move on to Laguardia, the most famous town in the area. We'll explore its historic centre as well as having access to one of its wineries. However, a tour of the Rioja Alavesa wouldn't be complete without visiting the Marqués de Riscal and Ysios wineries, two monumental complexes that have become temples for wine lovers and fans of architecture.

To finish the tour in the best possible way, we'll enjoy a meal consisting of a starter, main course and dessert in a local restaurant.

Rioja Alta Day Trip

on this tour, we'll be heading to the Rioja Alta, the westernmost part of the autonomous community. We'll head through beautiful villages such as Haro, Cellorigo, Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón and Sajazarra, all of which are perfect for discovering not only their wine culture but also the Romanesque art present in their architecture.

The tour will take us to a boutique winery to discover how wine is made in the area. After a tasting of their most famed products, we'll go to a local restaurant to enjoy a traditional meal and taste the famous grilled meat!

Finally, we'll visit Santo Domingo de la Calzada, a town famous for being one of the stops on the French route of the Camino de Santiago (Saint James' Way). We'll walk through its historic centre and learn about its history.
