Gerona Day Trip & Wine Tasting
Crusades, castles, religion and nobility. If there's one thing the Middle Ages is known for is the defence of the city in the face of invading hordes. Therefore, as soon as we arrive at Pals (our first destination), we'll see a medieval town that will not fail to impress. On our guided tour we'll see the walls and towers, but we'll also explore the streets that still bear the marks of their medieval carriages.
Our tour continues around Gerona, and although here you can see the contrast between the modern and old buildings, the old town and Jewish quarter both have a special charm. And you'll have an hour of free time to do some shopping, or continue exploring the city.
Before heading back to the pick-up point, we'll make a stop at some typical wineries, where we'll taste wines and liqueurs, to end the trip on an inarguable high note!
