Admire unparalleled panoramic views of the city of Dubrovnik from the sea on this 3-hour tour in kayak and enjoy snorkeling in the crystal waters off a nearby beach.
Dubrovnik Sea Kayak and Snorkeling Tour
Begin your tour from the entrance to the Old Town, where your guide will explain all you need to know about the activity. After a demonstration of kayak paddling, you will put on the necessary equipment and get into your yellow kayak at Pile Bay. While you paddle, you’ll admire the striking fortification that hangs on the edge of the cliffs, built to protect the most important city of the Republic of Ragusa.
Cruise past the city walls and make your way to Lokrum island where, according to an old legend, Richard the Lionheart was shipwrecked on his way back from the Crusade. From the sea, you will observe Fort Royal, a fortification erected by Napoleon’s troops in the early nineteenth century. Near the rocky beaches of Lokrum, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the Dalmatian coast.
Navigate your kayak until you get to Betina Cave, a hidden beach partially covered by a natural cove, which is only accessible from the sea. From here, dive into the transparent waters and if you feel adventurous, you can go snorkeling and discover the colorful fish. Afterwards, you will be handed a snack to recover your strength and you’ll have time to sunbathe on the beach.
After enjoying the Dalmatian coast and the Adriatic Sea on this 3-hour tour, you will head back to Dubrovnik.
Each kayak has a maximum capacity of two people, so two adults will go in each vessel.
Children between 5 and 7 can participate for free as long as they're sharing a kayak with an adult.
