Northeast La Palma Hiking Tour Itinerary
At 10:30 am the tour meets outside the Las Tricias tourist information office and it's from this picturesque neighborhood in Garafía that we start our hiking route, exploring the landscapes of the northeast of La Palma.
Discover the colonial architecture of Las Tricias and why this town is known as the "garden of the dragon trees": spectacular tree species typical of the Canary Islands!
Along the hike, which lasts about three hours, we will explore the dreamlike paths that lead to the Buracas caves, where we will find the petroglyphs carved by the first inhabitants of the island of La Palma. Discover how the indigenous Benahoritas lived.
Finally, we will make our way to the Puntagorda market, where you can buy top quality agricultural and artisan products to take home as a souvenir. Here the vehicle will be waiting for us to take us back to Las Tricias.
The activity comes to an end back at the starting point at approximately 3 pm.
