Discover one of the most incredible landscapes of the Dominican Republic with this day trip to Jarabacoa. You'll visit a natural paradise and even enjoy a typical lunch at a ranch!
Jarabacoa Day Trip
We'll pick you up from Avenida General Gregorio Luperón in Puerto Plata at 7 am and begin our journey to Jarabacoa. Do you know why it's known as the city of eternal spring? Let's find out!
After a two-and-a-quarter hour drive, we'll reach the Jarabacoa Ranch. When we arrive, we'll set off on a horseback ride. With the help of a local guide, we'll spend an hour exploring the area. And don't worry - you don't need any previous experience!
At the end of the ride we'll head back to the ranch to enjoy a typical Dominican lunch. Afterwards, we'll make our way to the Jimenoa Waterfall, which is 40 metres high! Next, we'll visit the Baiguate Waterfall, the perfect place to take a dip!
Before we head back, you'll have an hour and a half of free time to tour Jarabacoa on your own. At the end of the trip, we'll return to Puerto Plata, arriving by around 7:30 pm.
