Discover the Spanish bullfighting culture with this fantastic trip to a traditional ranch in Ronda. You will explore the pasture, meet these magnificent creatures, and discover all the secrets of the country's most famous cultural event.
Spanish Fighting Bull Ranch Tour
We will meet up at 12 pm at the entrance of the Reservatauro ranch in Ronda. Belonging to the bullfighter Rafael Tejada, this farm is home to numerous fighting bulls and Andalusian horses and has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco. Are you ready to enter the world of bullfighting?
We will tour the most important facilities, such as the "Plaza de Tienta" arena and the pens. After getting to know the tasks carried out in each one of them, we will explore the pasture, the fighting bull's habitat. We will encounter both the adults as well as the young bulls, the cows, and their calves.
Another of the animals we will meet on this brilliant experience is the majestic Andalusian horse. Its beauty and graceful movements will leave you amazed. We continue by visiting the area where the bullfighters train in preparation for an event. You will learn all the fascinating details such as the difference between a muleta or a capote, and what a verónica is. By the end, you will have a full understanding of the culture of the Spanish bull.
Finally, we head into the rooms of the estate to discover important memorabilia from Tejada's career, such as his traditional suits of lights and also visit the matador's private chapel.
This fantastic guided tour finishes at 1:30 pm.
