Discover the importance of the sea to this area of northern Spain with this ticket to the Cantabrian Maritime Museum, whose exhibitions showcase three important aspects of maritime tradition: nature, man and technology.
Its varied and unique collection, which is constantly expanding, will allow you to learn about interesting topics including the natural history of the sea and the different ships and boats that have sailed its waters. Among the exhibitions are old photographs, historical documentation and even aquariums where you'll be able to see native marine species of the Cantabrian Sea.
The experience is completed by the building in which the museum is housed, which is of course located on Santander's coastline. The views over this important bay will immerse you in the fascinating world of the Cantabrian Sea.
On Sundays entrance to the museum is free from 2 pm till close.
From 1 October to 30 April: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
From 1 May to 30 September: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 7:30 pm.
