Girona Day Trip & Wine Tasting
After picking you up, we'll head to Pertallada, a charming town in Girona where it feels like time has stood still. Protected behind hundred-year-old walls, we'll discover its old town, where the quaint archways and gates adorned with flowers bring splashes of light and colour to the stone walls.
After over an hour in Pertallada, we'll head to Girona where there's a great photo opportunity with its colourful bridges. You'll even be able to boast about walking on one of Gustave Eiffel's first pieces of work! Yes, that's right, famed for his tower in Paris, some years beforehand Mr Eiffel himself designed the Iron Bridge in Girona.
The views from this structure are stunning: not far from the old quarter and framed by the Jewish neighbourhood, the River Oñar flows underneath and the colourful buildings are reflected in the water.
To top off a wonderful day trip, we'll enjoy a typical drink tasting. As we leave the city, we'll head to a traditional wine cellar to taste delicious wines and liqueurs. You can have as much as you like (provided you're aged 18 or over)!
With a delicious taste in the mouth and long-lasting memories, we'll return to Tossa de Mar at around 7 pm.
