El Rompido Bike Tour
We'll pick up our bikes and helmets from Hotel Fuerte El Rompido and set off on our bike tour around this spectacular area of southern Spain.
We'll cycle to the Paraje Natural Marismas del Río Piedras; unique landscape that extends from the mouth of the Río Piedras river, made up of marshes and a sandy formation called the Flecha del Rompido (Arrow of Rompido).
Phoenicians, Romans and Muslims colonised these coasts, leaving behind fascinating archaeological remains. As well as discover the incredible landscapes of dunes and marshes, we'll see a number of indigenous birds, fish and molluscs that coexist in this protected area of land.
At the end of the tour we'll make our way back to the starting point.
Important Information
- The bike tour lasts an hour and a half and we'll cycle around 12 km (7 miles).
- This is a low difficulty route as it is done on flat terrain.
- We have baby seats available for no extra cost.
