Visit the mountain pass of Jungfraujoch, considered the peak of Europe and declared a World Heritage Site.
Jungfraujoch Glacier Trip
We'll meet at 10:45 am at Höheweg, 95. From this central address in Interlaken, we'll travel by bus to the Alpine village of Grindelwald, situated at an altitude of 1034 metres.
Once in Grindelwald, we'll begin the ascent by Eiger Express cable car to the highest station in Europe. A route that passes through valleys, mountains and picturesque villages to finally reach the Jungfraujoch.
Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Jungfraujoch offers an impressive panorama of the famous three peaks: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Once at the top we'll enjoy the Alpine Sensation show.
Weather permitting, we'll enjoy the breathtaking views of the area. We'll also take a fascinating journey by rack train between the Eiger Glacier and Jungfraujoch on the one hand and the Jungfraujoch to Lauterbrunnen on the other.
In case of good weather conditions, you can also enjoy the Sphinx observatory and the Plateau viewpoint, from where you can see the neighbouring countries and the Aletsch Glacier, known to be the longest glacier in Europe. You can also explore the tunnels of the Ice Palace - a unique experience!
After enjoying approximately two and a half hours of free time atop Jungfraujoch, we'll return by cogwheel train to Interlaken. The tour will end at 5:45 pm.
