Free Walking Tour of Toledo
Begin your guided walking tour of the historic city of Toledo at 7 Calle Hobre de Palo, located in the old Jewish quarter. Here, you'll also find the famous Alcaná de Toledo, but, do you know what it is?
Next, we'll head to the immense Gothic-style Toledo Cathedral. As we admire this architectural masterpiece, you'll learn the legends and stories about "city of three cultures", which has been influenced by successive Christian, Muslim and Jewish occupation.
You'll also get to learn about the history of the Visigoths and Arabs, at what is these days the Santa Iglesia Cathedral, dating back to the 13th century. We'll then continue the free tour into the Jewish Quarter, hearing about the way of life in this historic district and seeing the Hebrew influence on the buildings around the city.
We'll end the free tour at the initial meeting point.
