The sights as such were breathtaking! But the organisation left me disappointed as first the driver was over 40 mins late, there was almost no space to sit and then it turned out this isn't a bilingual tour at all. I was the only foreigner among native spanish speakers and the guide did not speak a single word of English. I have a basic understanding of Spanish, so I could get the general information on some things but the majority of background info had been lost. Which was really unfortunate.
I enjoyed the tour. I appreciated being picked up and that all the details were taken care of. It was good value for the money. I loved talking with others in the van. The highlight was being able to experience the activities in San Juan Bautista church in San Juan Chamula. That was so unique and interesting! There was some waiting involved. We did have to walk short distances on uneven ground [which is just the way it is]. We were dropped at the square in San Cristobal afterwards.
