El Ranchito Horse Show
Dressage and doma vaquera are a traditional art form in Andalusia. Enjoy a unique evening of entertainment watching the mesmerising dance of the horses at El Ranchito in Torremolinos.
What is the El Ranchito Horse Show?
Spending an evening at the prestigious El Ranchito equestrian centre, located in Torremolinos, you'll enjoy an hour-and-a-half show full of passion, tradition and skill.
Lead by celebrated horseman Carlos González Guerrero, who is Spain's Gold Medal Champion in Equestrianism, purebred Spanish horses and professional dancers will entertain you with their incredible movements from the disciplines of dressage and doma vaquera, a traditional Spanish horse riding style.
In total, twenty horses will take part in this display: not just performing the complicated steps of the traditional equestrian disciplines, but also dancing to the rhythm of the music, accompanied by dancers in typical flamenco costumes. You'll be completely captivated!
Throughout the show, you'll watch a series of different performances, with the majestic horses displaying steps such as the piaffe, the passage, the capriole and the courbette - plus much more! Don't miss out on this unique evening of entertainment.
